Geoff has always been about serious issues more than entertainment. As a military guy, he knows there are always bad guys out there.
I remember Jim Eason on KGO saying that "a fight on a street corner can draw a crowd" referring mostly, I think, to Savage. Anyway, we in Mexifornia don't get to listen much now that he rubs elbows with Yankees. But I have been a supporter/listener for 10 maybe 15 years. Old habits are hard to break.
