903 pound tuna landed in Kennebunkport, Maine

A 903 lbs giant bluefin was brought into Kennebunkport's Government Wharf in 1998. The monster fish was caught aboard Ed Duffy's 32 foot sportfisherman "Fish Story". The angler was San Francisco radio celebrity Geoff Metcalf. Geoff hooked the fish on a live whiting and took about 45 minutes bringing the beast to gaff. That was accomplished using a Powerhook, S17, 7" Stellwagon Series back loop gaff. According to Ed Duffy, it was the largest giant tuna brought into his home port last year. Hat's off to "Fish Story" and Geoff for a great angling accomplishment.
