From the U.S. Constitution     What has become of America, once the land of the free and the home of
the brave? The enemies of liberty and truth have inflicted near mortal
wounds on me with ever increasing frequency and severity while those
self-professed patriots supposedly sworn to defend and uphold me sit on
the sidelines screaming foul. I have to ask you: why have you all not
come to my rescue? I have given We the People the best I have to offer
and in turn for decades now you have neglected to come to my relief,
despite my being routinely ravaged and violated by these usurpers of all
you dubiously claim to hold dear. I have been left to fend for myself
much to my chagrin and your shame. Your indifference to my plight,
hollow rhetoric notwithstanding, reveals that inaction speaks louder
than words. Can you not distinguish between your defense of your lives
and property and defending the principles I hold? What a letdown this
is for me, though I will not beg for your assistance in my dark hour of
need. When the flame of freedom is extinguished forever you will have
only yourselves to blame. I have done all I can to protect you. Take courage and God bless. |
